HOW SETTING RB 450 G

To find out how the MikroTik Router, used RB450G MikroTik Wireless Router (Indoor) and RB1000. It is expected that this router can answer the problems faced such as how to control bandwidth (Bandwidth Control), PAT (local device access from the Internet), NAT (local computer can access the Internet), VLANs for segmentation purposes, the user controls the Hot Spot. Before performing the initial installation, you should download the following files:
1.Aplikasi Mikrotik Neighbor Viewer 2.Aplikasi Winbox
3.Reference Manual (in PDF) With the above two applications, the installation of a new beginning can be made. While still new, RB450G not equipped with an IP Address, MAC Address only. It is necessary to use a telnet application that supports the MAC Address. In applications Mikrotik Neighbor Telnet Viewer is available with MAC Address. But unfortunately, every time you want to log into RB450, always fails with error message "Connection timeout". Initially we connect the PC and RB450G to a switch. Although the relationship has changed from a PC directly to RB450G, the error message still appears and the process of IP address always fails.

Because the use Mikrotik Neighbor Viewer application always failed, ultimately disposable WinBox application. Because RB450G not yet have an IP Address, then entered the MAC address it. As always, when beginning to use the username is admin with no password. Once able to get into RB450G use WinBox Console, we can set a new IP Address.

Setting IP Address: IP -> Addresses -> + -> Address: 192.168.1.3/24; Network: blank; Broadcast: blank; Interface: ether-1 gateway -> OK

After the first port or Eth1/PoE given IP = 192.168.1.3, I tried to get out of WinBox Console in order to enter again into WinBox Console but use IP address rather than MAC Address.

It did not get into RB450G by using an IP Address. Finally had to use MAC Address again. Do not know why. Is it possible for port 8291 not open?

Apparently there Action = drop on the menu IP -> Firewall -> Filter Rules -> Chain: input; In Interface: ether1-gateway. After the amended Action = accept, the connection with WinBox Console via IP addresses and connection with a web browser can be done.

SETTING WAYS ROUTER BOARD 411

Already famous saebagai Mikrotik routers, commonly used in office or cafe. Likewise, the wireless mikrotik, in addition to the bias used for the router, the bias is also used only for access points only. Why is that, because the DHCP server and Hotspot already discover the previous server.
Topology below shows how the wireless Router Board (RB411) functioned as akases point only. In setting Akases Point (AP) there are two ways, first functioned as a router, meaning RB This is a Gateway Server. Where there is a DHCP server on this RB411.

Setting the second is as a Bridge (Bridging), which is a technique combining or bundling of the two interface without any deflection or processing of an IP address from one interface to another interface. By understanding the other interfaces in the bridge seemed to be fused into one, like a switch function only.

On this occasion that I have to say is how this RB411 functioned as an access point. The concept is to create a bridge between ether1 and wlan1 is in the interface. With the help of Winbox, click on the interface it will show ether1 and wlan1.

The next step is to create a bridge, at the interface click the + sign and select the bridge, it will show bridge1, then ok. New interfaces can be seen as shown below

2 LANE TO PEAK IN INDONESIA MERAPI

Mount Merapi (2968 m.dpl) is one of the volcanoes that have a destructive force that high and among the 75 most active volcano located in Indonesia, and is of the world's mountains. One characteristic of Mount Merapi is in the event of an eruption produced hot clouds (glowing avalanches), which by the locals called wedus Gembel (a type of goat Java), this hot clouds have temperatures around 1,000 ° C which decreased shaped like a sphere curly goat.
Another distinctive feature of the Mount Merapi lava dome is forming that could reach hundreds of cubic meters per day, the largest numbers of people throughout the history of volcanic eruptions in the world. The last major eruption occurred in late 1993 that left tens of people died due to hit the slopes surrounding the hot lava and heat clouds.
As a result of this mountain a lot of people around the slopes of Mount Merapi on the move to another place. Mount Merapi is located on the border of Yogyakarta (30 km), Magelang regency (25 km) and Klaten district (17.5 km). Mount Merapi is often closed to climbing due to frequent asymptomatic eruption that arrived - arrived.
Even so, the mountain is almost never deserted from the climbers, even on a Sunday a lot of climbers who come. To reach the summit of Mount Merapi, we can get through two main channels, through Kinaharjo / Kaliurang and through Selo / Boyolali, but the line was closed while climbing Kaliurang since November 1995.
Line Selo To reach the village of Selo from Yogyakarta city we ride the bus to Magelang, Blabak down in the Village, and followed up minibuses or goods vehicles to the majors Selo. It should be noted, at 17.00 pm on the vehicle from starting Selo Blabak to rarely operate. Selo actually easier to achieve than the Solo-Boyolali, because of Boyolali, there is direct transport to the Selo.
Selo Village (1560 m.dpl) is currently the main gate of ascent. Selo village located dipelana Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu. This village has a beautiful natural scenery because of its strategic location. The villagers are mostly farmed vegetables and tobacco. In this village there are also attractions that have a place of hermitage cave, located 300 meters from Selo Police Station.
Beginning the climb to the summit of Mount Merapi from Selo, we walked to the street which is adjacent to the Great Inns of Merapi to the Kampung Plalangan (1630 m.dpl), the last village to reach the summit of Mount Merapi. Prior to his trip to the summit in Kampung Plalangan we can stay at home KamiTuwo first, Mr. Suwito with voluntary fees only and the next morning we go on a road.
From Plalangan trip continued to follow the village road towards the parking lot which is the Postal I. This post can be reached by car, but should the car in parking in Plalangan because it is safe and ahead of Post I have avalanches. The distance between the Inn until the post I was 2.3 km, which is achieved with 45 minutes on foot.
The journey continues towards Pos II is Selokopo Bottom (2040 m.dpl) for 1.5 hours of travel. From the bottom we headed Selokopo Selokopo Top (2283 m.dpl) about 1 hour, down a dirt road and rocky. From the Top Selokopo forwarded trip down the rocky road for 1.5 hours, we will reach Bubrah Market (2450 m.dpl).
Market Bubrah according to public confidence around this mountain, is where the devil or memedi. From here the journey continued for 2.5 hours through a very uphill road leading to the Peak and dangerous Garuda (2911 m.dpl). Total Travel of Selo to the summit takes 5-6 hours and decline takes 3-4 hours per street.
Landscape on Puncak Garuda is amazing as well as terrifying, rumbling craters and smoke and rock cliffs around the crater looks creepy. But from this we can see the top cities in the legs of the mountain such as Yogyakarta and Magelang Boyolali, the Indian Ocean coast at the foot of the sky. If lucky, we can see the sunrise the east which is a reddish diufuk scenery is amazing.
To climb 2 (two) of the mountain at once (Climbing party, usually the path that is used is Kopeng - summit - Selo - The peak of Merapi and return to the Selo (or to Kaliurang when it reopens).
Ground track (900 m asl) To reach the village of Kaliurang, from Yogyakarta can use the minibus. Kaliurang village situated at the foot of Mount Merapi with fresh green natural, so much visited for many purposes between 33 include: recreation, hiking to Mount Merapi, a seminar or a trip to Mount Merapi in Plawangan Observatory (1265 m asl), where we can watch more closely the activities of Mount Merapi.
Kaliurang village before temporarily closed and declared a prohibited area in November 1995, is the main gate ascent of Mount Merapi from the south. Kaliurang is a famous tourist area, located about 25 km north of Yogyakarta city. To enjoy a view of Mount Merapi available view post where we can create panoramic photos and see the red molten lava at night.
On the Ground before temporarily closed and declared a prohibited area in November 1995, is the main gate ascent of Mount Merapi from the south. Kaliurang is a famous tourist area, located about 25 km north of Yogyakarta city. To enjoy a view of Mount Merapi available view post where we can create panoramic photos and see the red colored molten lava at night.
In this region there are about 100 hotels and inns with various rates according to the facilities offered. Guest Wisma Gajah Mada (telp. 0274-95225) European-style architecture in Indonesia. Hotel Satriafi which includes new and is one of the best.
On the Ground is also contained homestay is very well known overseas as a world tourist information center is quite complete, that is able to meet the owner Hostel.Kita Vogel Vogel, Mr. Christian Awuy who will be happy to provide information about Mount Merapi for free.
From Kaliurang continue our journey towards Kinaharjo through the village road, pursued for 30 minutes. To get to Kampung Kinaharjo can also be reached by public transportation from Pakem (4 km before Kaliurang from Yogyakarta). In Kampung Kinaharjo we can meet the caretaker of Mount Merapi, Mbah Marijan, a widely known climbers, to get information and stories about Mount Merapi.
Travel from Kinaharjo we continue through a rather uphill road, after 1 hour we will find the cottage to unwind stop, and from here we can see the summit of Mount Plawangan (1,260 m.dpl), which is where the Mount Merapi observation post (Volcanology).
From the cottage, our journey continued for 1.5 hours through an Anti-Nuclear Monument to the area the rest of the Black Sand eruption of Mount Merapi. Travel for 1 hour from the Black Sand we will reach the border of the forest where many found the pine trees. Our journey continue for 2 hours to the T-junction leading to the crater, a former molten lava that has hardened.
From the junction, through which a steep uphill road, and gravel mixed with sand. Straight trip to the summit takes about 2 hours and left leading to the crater of Mount Merapi takes 1 hour per jalanan.Total ascent takes 90-10 hours and the decline takes 4-5 hours drive. In general, the ascent through Kaliurang heavier and longer, but more popular because it is easily reached from Yogyakarta.
In Kaliurang we can get information about his ascent of Mount Merapi and pathways in the Vogel Homestay Jl. Asta Mulya 76, tel. 0274-95208. Vogel also provide lodging and hiking tours packages at low cost. But during Kaliurang lane closed Vogel Jungle Trekking only hold up to an altitude of 2,000 m.dpl only. Telephone facilities available at Kaliurang, but in this facility is not yet available Selo.
In Selo we can contact inn-inn a.l. Great Merapi, which usually provides guides with relatively affordable cost for the para-climbers. If we want more easily, in Jogjakarta we can contact "Jaya Tour and Travel" on Jl. Sosrowijayan 2, Tel. 0274-86735, Yogyakarta, every day organized tour through the ascent to Mount Merapi Selo with cheap cost includes transport Yogyakarta - Selo PP, pilotage, breakfast and snacks. In Selo we can spend the night at the inn Great Merapi, also at the inn or Melati Jaya Home Stay
To determine the condition of the last volcanic before the climb, we can contact officers of Volcanology in Selo or the Ground. To climb this mountain we must be extra careful against a rock slide climber who stepped in front.
When we start climbing the night of Selo, we can see the sunrise at the summit of Garuda and can get back to the Selo before mealtime siang.Pendakian the busiest months are usually in a Shura (New Year in Javanese calendar), where the mountain is visited until 10,000 people.
When an emergency occurs via electronic Line Selo, we can contact officers of Volcanology and police Selo, also the local village and diJalur Kaliurang we can contact the postal Volcanology in Plawangan or Mr. Christian Awuy in Vogel Hostel which is the SAR Post Mount Merapi
